The department of Food Science and Technology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka successfully held an induction ceremony for 26 of its graduates on Friday the 25th of July 2025.
The induction ceremony was conducted by the NIFST President Dr Bola Osinowo who was represented by the former Editor-in-Chief Prof. Gabriel Okafor.
The Chairman of the Chapter Apst Peter Agbata represented by the PRO Comr. Oyarebu Ahmed Omoaka urged the inductees to wear the Institute badge of membership with honor. He advised that their work should be driven by purpose. That they should allow excellence, discipline, and collaboration guide their path. And they should never forget the values and training they have received at UNN.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Head of Department and Coordinator Nsukka Zone Prof Eunice Uzodimma and a host of other staff members of the department.
The inductees in their vote of thanks promised to uphold the values of the Institute and ensure their decisions are driven by professional ethics.
